David Eaton

David Eaton, ChFC®, CLU®, is Vice President and a co-founder of The Stanley-Laman Group, which he established in 1991 with William Stanley and James Laman. Since then he has focused on estate planning and wealth management for ultra-high-net-worth business owners and multi-generational families. He leads the firm's client relationship management and business development, and is the primary point of contact for many of the firm's most complex client relationships.

David coordinates the firm's investment and tax planning teams around each family's circumstances, goals, and family dynamics. His work covers estate structures, business succession planning, and wealth transfer for privately held companies and family enterprises. His background in insurance planning extends to risk management, executive benefit structures, and the use of life insurance within estate plans.

Before co-founding the firm, David worked in financial services, focusing on estate and insurance planning for high-net-worth clients. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Lehigh University and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations from The American College. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.

Outside the firm, David has coached with the Conestoga Generals Pop Warner football program and Devon-Strafford Little League. He lives in suburban Philadelphia with his wife and four children.
