Gary Soura, MBA, CFA, is Senior Portfolio Manager at The Stanley-Laman Group, which he joined in 2016. He has more than 30 years of investment experience in equity research and portfolio management across market sectors and capitalization ranges.
Gary began his career at Vanguard and then joined Wellington Management Company as a research associate. He left Wellington with a small group of its portfolio managers to found Schneider Capital Management, an institutional value manager of separate accounts and mutual funds whose assets peaked at $7.4 billion.
Gary spent more than 20 years at Schneider as Senior Equity Analyst, Senior Vice President, and a founding partner. He researched companies across market sectors and all market capitalizations and was also responsible for cash flow management, trading operations, and the firm's relationships with brokers.
Gary earned his MBA in Finance from St. Joseph's University and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Pennsylvania State University. He is a CFA Charterholder.
