Stephen Taylor, J.D., LL.M., is Senior Counsel & Head of Tax Planning at The Stanley-Laman Group, which he joined in 2016. He works as an attorney for Laman Law, LLC, providing legal counsel on estate planning, wealth transfer, income tax planning, and business succession to the firm's clients.
Stephen's practice focuses on estate structures, charitable gift planning, estate administration, tax return preparation, and business agreements. He works closely with the firm's investment management and financial planning teams on tax-efficient wealth transfer that fits each client's investment objectives and family governance goals.
Before joining the firm, Stephen spent more than five years in private law practice in the Philadelphia area, working on estate and tax matters for high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
Stephen earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2010 and his LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova in 2011. At Villanova he was a Staff Writer and later Managing Editor of the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2005.
Stephen is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.
