David Eaton

ChFC®, CLU®
Vice President

David Eaton is Vice President and co-founder of The Stanley Laman Group, which he established in 1991 with William Stanley and James Laman. Over 34 years, David has specialized in estate planning and comprehensive wealth management for ultra-high-net-worth business owners and multi-generational families. He leads the firm's client relationship management and business development efforts, serving as the primary point of contact for many of the firm's most complex client relationships. David's role encompasses understanding each client's complete financial picture, identifying planning opportunities, and orchestrating the firm's multi-disciplinary resources to address evolving needs across generations.

David's approach emphasizes deep understanding of each family's unique circumstances, goals, and interpersonal dynamics, coordinating across the firm's investment, legal, and tax planning teams to deliver integrated wealth solutions. His expertise includes sophisticated estate structures, business succession planning, and wealth transfer strategies for privately held companies and family enterprises. David's insurance planning background provides particular insight into risk management, executive benefit structures, and the strategic use of life insurance within estate plans—capabilities that complement the firm's investment and legal expertise.

Prior to co-founding Stanley Laman Group, David worked in financial services, developing specialization in estate and insurance planning for high-net-worth clients. David earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics from Lehigh University and holds both the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations from The American College. He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.

Outside the firm, David has been actively involved in his local community, including coaching roles with the Conestoga Generals Pop Warner football program and Devon-Strafford Little League. He resides in suburban Philadelphia with his wife and four children.
